Palestinian Prisoners' Affairs Commission:
- The Gilboa Prison administration is refusing to provide full medical treatment to the Palestinian detainee Mustafa Abu Riyala, 36 years old, from Nablus, who has been detained since December 13, 2023, and is only giving him painkillers.
- The Commission explained that Abu Riyala suffers from severe and chronic pain in his legs as a result of an Israeli gunshot wound sustained in 2015, and requires radical treatment after a venous stent and metal plates were implanted in his legs.
- It added that the continued denial of treatment constitutes deliberate medical negligence, holding the Israeli occupation fully responsible for any deterioration in his health.
