The Israeli occupation killed Wednesday 4 Lebanese citizens, and injured others, including a journalist, following an airstrikes that targeted the towns of Al-Tayri and Yahmar al-Shaqif in southern Lebanon.
The National News Agency reported that two citizens were killed after a strike hit a vehicle in Al-Tayri, and that journalists Amal Khalil and Zeinab Faraj, who were in the area, were wounded and trapped. The agency stated that the Israeli forces targeted the main road connecting Al-Tayri and Haddatha to prevent rescue teams from reaching the journalists and evacuating them.
It added that the Lebanese Red Cross managed to extract journalist Faraj, who sustained moderate injuries, while rescue operations were still underway for journalist Khalil.
