Social Proof: Turn your Followers into raving Fans! Chloe (1) Social Proof is the concept that people will follow the actions of the masses. Example: People like to think that a stall sells awesome food when there is long queue and will high likely join in the queue or try another time when there’s no queue! (Think Shake Shack, A&W…etc) (2) Gather reviews to further proof that our product or service is valuable! - Put them on fb ads, fb page or fb groups! Example: It can be in the form of written testimonials or even videos. Think Shopee or Lazada, before customers buy anything, they tend to check out the reviews and if there are many reviews verified by the host, their chances of buying is higher! (3) Brand yourself as a thought leader in the niche specific to your business! Example: Our student Doctor Tristan branded himself as the leader of his industry as a dentist by sharing with his followers how to take care of their dental health through his videos! (4) Collaborate with Influencers Example: Chloe herself collaborated with Sean to tap into his network to build her brand. (5) Create Valuable Content Example: Glen posted a post daily to inspire his audience and he has many likes and shares from his page. (6) Create User-Generated Content Example: Shopavision created a competition to select someone to be their live host. This move was incredible because one of our students Shannon, who is an influencer herself participated in this competition. Bubble Trouble: Will Bull or Bear be the ultimate conqueror in 2020 Pete Tan & Sean Seah Pete's 3 Main Argument for BULL Market 1. Lots of Liquidity due to Fed's intervention. Also, investors are sitting on huge cash pile. This proves that there is a lot more money to fund the bull market. 2. Increase in Consumer Demand and Mobility. Data is showing that consumer demand and movement of people has been increasing. This is a sign of recovery as economy returns back to new norm 3. Most investors are bearish based on poll and evidenced by huge cash pile. The market has always proven to be wrong in predicting the market hence we should take the opposite stand of most investors. Sean's 3 Main Argument for BEAR Market 1. Current Market Recovery is due to the fact that business's has beat Wall Street estimates. But in actual fact, the real business performance is worse than pre-covid situation while the stock market is recovering near pre-covid as if business is as usual. Market will eventually realise that stocks are grossly over valued. 2. Business Weaknesses means dividend cuts and halt in share buy back, resulting is lowering per share value. These will be reflected in the coming quarters and hence dampening market sentiment. 3. There are real potential threats due to Cold War between the superpowers and things are looking to be worse before it gets better.
