## Set Auto Repay Mode Enhancement — November 9, 2026
On November 9, 2026, we will enhance POST /v5/spot-margin-trade/set-auto-repay-mode.
- Before the update:
When currency was omitted, setting autoRepayMode applied only to currencies that were borrowable at the time of the API request. Any currencies that became borrowable later required another API request to configure automatic repayment.
- After the update:
When currency is omitted, autoRepayMode will become a global automatic repayment switch. If enabled, it will apply to all currently borrowable currencies and automatically extend to currencies that become borrowable in the future.
For example, if BTC, ETH, and EOS are borrowable when the global switch is enabled, a newly added borrowable currency such as PEPE will automatically use the same automatic repayment setting.
When currency is specified, the behavior remains unchanged: autoRepayMode applies only to that specified currency.
Please see the changelog here: https://bybit-exchange.github.io/docs/changelog/v5#2026-11-09
Dear Clients,
To further improve trading performance and user experience, Bybit will migrate its trading services from AWS Singapore to AWS Tokyo (apne1-az4).
The migration is targeted on 12 November 2026.
Please refer to the attachment for the latest update to our migration plan.
[API Update] Changes to Default Order History Results
Effective November 12, 2026, we will update the default behavior of the following endpoints:
- GET /v5/order/history (https://bybit-exchange.github.io/docs/v5/order/order-list)
- GET /v5/spread/order/history (https://bybit-exchange.github.io/docs/v5/spread/trade/order-history)
When the `orderStatus` parameter is not passed:
- Before: The endpoints return `Cancelled`, `Rejected`, and `Deactivated` orders from the most recent 24 hours.
- After: `Cancelled`, `Rejected`, and `Deactivated` orders will no longer be returned.
When `orderStatus` is specified, the endpoints will continue to return matching orders from the most recent 24 hours for `Cancelled`, `Rejected`, and `Deactivated` orders
Please review and update your integration before the effective date.
Maintenance Notice: Mainnet Matching Engine Migration Drill (Tokyo)
We will conduct a live mainnet matching-engine migration drill to Tokyo on 4 November 2026, 15:30–16:30 (UTC+8) / 07:30–08:30 UTC.
Scope
Matching engine instance, covering the following USDT Perpetual symbols:
KSMUSDT, CHZUSDT, YFIUSDT, 1000RATSUSDT, NMRUSDT, PIXELUSDT, GRTUSDT, SNTUSDT, PYTHUSDT, TAOUSDT, BIGTIMEUSDT, BEAMUSDT, AGIUSDT, METISUSDT, LTCUSDT, DYDXUSDT, CAKEUSDT, ATOMUSDT, ALGOUSDT, BSVUSDT, MNTUSDT, AVAXUSDT, NEARUSDT
Timeline (UTC+8)
• 15:40 — forward migration to Tokyo begins
• 15:45 — forward migration completed; symbols above served from Tokyo
• 16:15 — rollback to Singapore begins
• 16:25 — rollback completed; drill ends
Expected impact
• A brief service interruption of approximately 30 seconds may occur during each cutover (15:40–15:45 and 16:15–16:25). Orders on the affected symbols may be rejected during that window; please retry.
• While the above symbols are served from Tokyo (15:45–16:15), clients connecting via Singapore endpoints may see an additional 70–100 ms of latency on the affected symbols.
• Other symbols and all other services are not affected.
Action
• No action is required. If your strategy is latency-sensitive on the symbols above, consider pausing or reducing activity during the window.
• If this drill is expected to have a significant impact on your operations, please let the Bybit team know.
Best regards,
Bybit Team

Best regards,
Bybit TeamDear Traders,
For equity perpetual contracts and options, the processing logic for forward and reverse stock splits has been updated.
Previously, only fractional position quantities resulting from a stock split were settled. Going forward, when an applicable stock split or reverse stock split occurs, the affected position will be closed and then reopened based on the adjusted contract terms.
New enum values have been added to support stock-split corporate actions for equity perpetual contracts and options:
- Transaction-log type: `FORWARD_SPLIT_OPEN`, `REVERSE_SPLIT_OPEN`
- Execution execType: `ForwardSplitOpen`, `ReverseSplitOpen`
These values identify executions generated by forward stock splits and reverse stock splits.
Backend support is now available. The new values will only be returned when applicable corporate-action events occur. Please update your integrations in advance to ensure your systems handle these enum values correctly.
Affected APIs and WebSocket topic:
* GET /v5/account/transaction-log

Effective Time: September 10, 2026, 8:00 AM UTCDear Traders,
Bybit is migrating its trading services from AWS Singapore to AWS Tokyo (ap-northeast-1, primary zone apne1-az4) by November 2026.
This document describes the migration's impact on API users accessing Bybit via the public CDN and REST/WebSocket endpoints.
Dear Traders,
As Bybit prepares for the expected launch of TradFi Options in September 2026, please note that certain corporate actions may result in adjustments to an option's strike price and, consequently, changes to its symbol name.
Corporate Actions — TradFi Options
* Forward stock split (M:1): Strike price divided by M, quantity multiplied by M, and average price divided by M.
* Reverse stock split (1:N): Strike price multiplied by N, quantity divided by N, and average price multiplied by N. Reverse splits may result in fractional option positions, which will be handled according to the applicable algorithm and settled at Mark_frozen.
* Special dividend (D ≥ threshold): TradFi Perpetuals and Options will jointly calculate an adjustment ratio and follow the corresponding stock split adjustment process.
* Regular quarterly dividends: No adjustment is required, as these are already reflected in the Forward's discrete dividend schedule and therefore incorporated into market pricing.
Important: Symbol Name Changes
Following certain corporate actions, an instrument's
symbol (symbol name) may change. However, its symbolId will remain unchanged.
You can retrieve both symbolId and symbol from the following OpenAPI endpoint: https://bybit-exchange.github.io/docs/v5/market/instrument
To ensure your systems continue to query and place orders using the correct instrument, please map instruments using the unchanged symbolId and retrieve the latest corresponding symbol when necessary.
We welcome your feedback and suggestions regarding this upcoming feature.
Thank you for your support.
