🔹 Mastering Advanced Conditionals! 🔹 Let’s break down some advanced grammar today with conditionals – those “if” sentences that can be a bit tricky! 1️⃣ Third Conditional: Use this for unreal situations in the past—things that didn’t happen. 👉 Structure: If + past perfect, would have + past participle 📝 Example: “If I had studied harder, I would have passed the test.” (But I didn’t study hard, so I didn’t pass.) 2️⃣ Mixed Conditional: This one’s for connecting past events with the present. 👉 Structure: If + past perfect, would + base form of verb 📝 Example: “If I had studied harder, I would be successful now.” (I didn’t study hard in the past, and now I’m not as successful.) 🔑 Tip: These conditionals are all about showing how one thing affects another.
