Psalm 2:1-3 1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? 2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying, 3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. Heavenly Father, We gather before You through Christ and praise Your Holy Name. We repent for our sins, and ask Your loving hand to guide us. We pray You help us to forgive others and to extend them Your merciful grace. We pray You grant us courage and boldness to stand against these kings and rulers who deny You. We place our faith and our trust in You; we will not be moved. We lift up our brothers and sisters in Christ, our families, friends, and loved ones. We pray You meet our needs, Father, so that we may love and serve You. In Jesus Christ’s name we pray, Amen.
