Key Points for this telegram message As you are aware, the term for the current ROKOWA committee ends on 31st Mar-2024 after completing two years tenure. In this regard, ROKOWA would like to commence the election process for selecting the next set of committee members. Key dates and rules for the election process are as follows: 1. Key Dates Date Activity 19.01.2024 : Election Notification. 19.01.2024 to 31.01.2024 : Filing of Nominations (format attached) 31.01.2024 : Last day for filing nominations 01.02.2024 to 02.02.2024 : Withdrawal of Nominations 03.02.2024 : Announcement of Valid Nominations 10.02.2024 : Election/Induction of Governing Body (from 9 am to 3 pm) 12.02.2024 : Announcement of Office Bearers *Closing time shall be 9:00 PM IST on the date mentioned. 2. ROKOWA Elected Committee The ROKOWA Elected Committee shall have a total of 14 members with 2 members being elected from each block (from A to G). Following posts shall be the office bearers. 1. Sub- Seepage repair - Temperory closure of the clubhouse Dear Residents, As previously communicated in the GBM regarding seepage arrest, painting, and renovation of the clubhouse, we would like to inform you that the work will commence on 17th January and will continue until 10th March. All bookings and classes during this period will be cancelled, and no fresh bookings will be allowed until the work is completed. The closure of the clubhouse is necessary from a safety perspective and to complete the work as soon as possible. The FM office will be in touch with coaches and individuals who have made bookings to arrange for the return of their payments. Any changes to the schedule will be communicated promptly. Sub- Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Pran Pratishtha Celebration in Our Society Dear Residents, As most of you are aware, the Pran Pratishtha of Bhagavan Shri Ram in Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir, Ayodhya is planned on 22nd Jan, 2024 by Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. The worldwide celebrations are planned for the occasion. In celebration of this occasion, the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust planned to distribute the Akshat nationwide, which was offered to Bala Rama's moorty and we are blessed to get the holy Akshat for our society. *MOST IMPORTANT:* As this is a once in a lifetime event, we want as much involvement from everyone as possible. So, if you want to volunteer for the holy cause of Akshat distribution and the celebrations, please fill the form below by 4th Jan, 2 PM. We can have a quick meeting with different volunteer groups to discuss the arrangements. *Volunteer Form:* https://forms.gle/3RNxynjbNnaAoVvc9 We will be collecting the Akshat Kalash on Sat, 6th Jan. Once the Akshat reaches our society, it will be welcomed with aarti followed by Kalash yatra all over the society on the same evening covering every block (6th Jan). Residents can decorate their block entrances with Rangoli and flowers/torans for the Kalash Yatra on 6th Jan. *Some Guidelines to follow for Akshat Distribution and celebrations:* 1. Akshat from Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra, Ayodhya will be distributed on 6th and 7th Jan in 2-3 hours window on both days. We will communicate timings for the distribution to all residents. 2. Volunteers and Receivers both should take bath and distribute or receive the Akshat in traditional attire. 3. Each flat will be given around 3 Grams of the Akshat. 4. The instructions how and when the Akshat will be used will be provided by volunteers again while distribution. 5. Akshat is offered to Ram Lalla by Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. The holy Akshat is an invitation and appeal by the trust that Lord Ram is calling all of you to worship at Ayodhya. 6. On the Pran Pratishtha day, Devotees can decorate their temple for the occasion and can light diya at home and at a designated place at society as well. *Celebrations planned on Sat, 6 Jan, 2024 evening:* 1. Information - Breaking guidelines and ethics Dear Residents, In the recent past we have been informed by the FM office and Security team that despite a known process of no work on holidays, vendors are escorted forcefully by owners to get in and sometimes they are entering in the owner's car.
