It is because Sarvodaya assumes the human being to be an epitome of virtues only. But in reality jealousy, selfishness, acquisitiveness etc. are ingrained in human nature. Hence establishing a Sarvodaya society based on mutual love, cooperation, selfless service etc. is, indeed, an impossible task

What is the Index of Industrial Production (IIP)?
It is an indicator that measures the changes in the volume of production of industrial products during a given period. Base Year- 2011-2012.
It is compiled and published monthly by the National Statistical Office, Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation.
It is a composite indicator that measures the growth rate of industry groups classified under:
Broad sectors: Mining, Manufacturing, and Electricity.
Use-Based Sectors: Basic Goods, Capital Goods, and Intermediate Goods.
Index of Eight Core Industries (ICI): This is an index of the eight most fundamental industrial sectors of the Indian economy and comprises 40.27% of the weight in IIP.
The monthly Index of Eight Core Industries (ICI) measures collective and individual performance of production in eight core industries.
The eight core sector industries in decreasing order of their weightage:
Refinery Products> Electricity> Steel> Coal> Crude Oil> Natural Gas> Cement> Fertilizers.

According to the United Nations' Vancouver Declaration on Human Settlements (1976), "human settlements means the totality of the human community – whether city, town or village – with all the social, material, organizational, spiritual and cultural elements that sustain it."
Settlements take on a range of shapes when they form. Dispersed, linear and nucleated are the most common.
Settlement is a place where people live and interact through several activities such as agriculture, trading or services. Settlement helps us to understand man's relationship with his environment. In general rural refers to countryside and urban refers to town and cities
The analysis uses the basic theory of Doxiadis about the five elements determining settlements: nature, man, society, the shell and network.
There are generally three types of settlements: compact, semi-compact, and dispersed. Each is based on its population density. Compact settlements have the highest density of population.
An urban settlement is where displaced populations settle within an urban agglomeration such as a town or city. A master plan usually divides towns or cities into zones regulated by norms based on specific sectors such as housing, hygiene, habitat, and environment.
The types of urban settlements include cities, towns, metropolitan cities, mega-metropolis, conurbations, and million cities. Based on their purposes, cities can be classified as administrative, industrial, transport, commercial, mining, cantonment, educational, religious, tourist, etc
Rural settlements are built closely and directly related to land. They are dominated by primary activities such as fishing, animal husbandry, agriculture, etc. The size of rural settlements is comparatively small.
They include compact settlements, semi-compact settlements, and dispersed settlements.
Compact Settlements. Compact settlements have houses clustered together, often joining on the sides. ...
Semi-Compact Settlements. Semi-compact settlements are also called hamlet settlements. ...

India is a land known for its rich heritage, culture, history, and diversity. It is one of the world's oldest civilizations and was dominated by several dynasties and kingdoms throughout its history. While the cities might now be modern and energetic, they nonetheless reflect hundreds of years of history and culture that now distinguish them from every other city in the world

Himalayan Rivers
The main Himalayan river systems are the Ganga, the Indus and the Brahmaputra river systems. The Himalayan rivers form large basins. Many rivers pass through the Himalayas. These deep valleys with steep rock sides were formed by the down - cutting of the river during the period of the Himalayan uplift. They perform intense erosional activity up the streams and carry huge load of sand and silt. In the plains, they form large meanders, and a variety of depositional features like flood plains, river cliffs and levees.
These rivers are perennial as they get water from the rainfall as well as the melting of ice. Nearly all of them create huge plains and are navigable over long distances of their course. These rivers are also harnessed in their upstream catchment area to generate hydroelectricity.

Peninsular Rivers
The main peninsular river systems include the Narmada, the Tapi, the Godavari, the Krishna, the Kaveri and the Mahanadi river systems. The Peninsular rivers flow through shallow valleys. A large number of them are seasonal as their flow is dependent on rainfall. The intensity of erosional activities is also comparatively low because of the gentler slope. The hard rock bed and lack of silt and sand does not allow any significant meandering. Many rivers therefore have straight and linear courses. These rivers provide huge opportunities for hydro-electric power.
