Our lecturer, Mr. Issei Sakano, participated as an expert panelist in the panel discussion on “Codification Methodology and Cambodia’s Commercial Code” at the Symposium on Commercial Code for Cambodia. The symposium was co-organized by the Legal Reform Committee and the Trade Policy Advisory Committee at Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel, under the presidency of H.E. Vongsey Vissoth, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister and Minister in charge of the Office of the Council of Ministers. This symposium served as an important forum for dialogue, discussion, and the exchange of perspectives, practical experiences, and expert inputs toward the development of a clear, harmonized, and comprehensive Commercial Code for Cambodia, contributing to the strengthening of the rule of law and legal reform in Cambodia. On 25 June 2026, Ms. LY Sokunthy, Head of the Research Project Coordination Office at NUM Center of Excellence for R&D and Innovation, delivered a presentation on the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) programme during the "Erasmus and European Scholarship Info Session" to the management, professors, and lecturers from the National University of Battambang (NUBB), Battambang Teacher Education College (BTEC), University of Management and Economics (UME), Dewey International University, Cambodia University for Specialties (CUS) Battambang Campus, and Build Bright University (BBU) Battambang Campus. During the presentation, she provided an overview of the CBHE programme, explained the grant application process, and shared practical strategies for developing competitive and successful project proposals. The event was hosted by NUBB and jointly organised by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and the EU Delegation to Cambodia.
