Happy Eden-versary!
This month's meet on October 17th will be our spooky spectacular at Eden.
Themed cocktails will be available this time, and we're having a fancy dress competition!
Our cocktail selection will be the following:
Moojito - Mojito
Zoom’bie - Zombie
Pikachu (shot)
Liquid Sunblock - Pina Colada
Regarding the fancy dress competition, there will be 3⃣ categories:
1. Best 'Horror' themed
2. Best 'Non-horror' themed
3. Most Creative!
On the day of the event, a poll will appear for you all in the BrumFurs Telegram Chat. Put forward your entries on the day, by adding your name to the poll!

Saturday 12th September is the next furmeet at Eden!
The Premeet starts at 11:00am at the staircase opposite The Crown, just outside New Street Station.
Our meet officially starts at 12pm at Eden, where we have access to all floors. The Fursuit Walk, weather permitting, starts at 3pm in the beer garden, and lasts approximately 1 hour, as we take the group up to the hippodrome. It appears Standard British Weather has now returned- as such we're forecast rain for saturday, so the walk will be weather permitting this weekend.
Our meet officially concludes at 6pm, after which the staff team are off duty.
A reminder that Eden now has a full kitchen and menu with hot food options. As such, outside food is no longer permitted. We can make allowances if the staff team is notified prior to the event.
There also will be a special announcement for our first anniversary at our new home, Eden!
• Prior to attending, we ask all attendees to read our Code of Conduct, if you haven't already. It can be found at: www.birminghamfurs.uk/code-of-conduct . If you're uncertain about anything on this page, please let our team know prior to attending.
• Smoking is allowed in the ground floor garden, but please keep clear of the main doors, to prevent smoke ingress. We kindly ask attendees to please dispose of cigarette butts using the ashtrays provided, rather than leave them on the floor.
• All attendees must present a valid ID to purchase alcohol on the premises. If you are under the age of 18, you must request a wristband either on the door, or from any staff member present at the Artist's Alley. Eden operates the 'Under 25' rule- so don't be surprised if you're asked for ID despite looking over 18. Attendees must remove their fursuit heads if purchasing drinks at the bar.
• The venue is also fully accessible for those with mobility impairments -visible or not! This includes a floating elevator- this piece of equipment specifically is for the use by attendees with physical disabilities only. Fursuits, including partials, are not permitted inside the lift. We ask attendees to remove items such as ears, tails, heads and feetpaws for your own safety.
• Please be aware that any personal belongings you bring to the meet are your responsibility- the venue, the staff team, or any other attendees of the furmeet cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage.
• Regarding parking, the nearest large car park is the Arcadian. There are also some small private car parks off Gooch Street. The small yard next to Eden is private property, no parking is allowed.
• Regarding the fursuit walk- please ensure you're hydrated (Buzzballs are NOT hydration) and remove your fursuit and tell a handler or staff member if you're struggling.
• Please reach out to a member of the staff team if you have any questions!

IMPORTANT UPDATE- in light of yesterday's train derailment in East Sussex, we would like to encourage you to be vigilant when checking your train times. Try to account for any delays or potential cancellations in your journey to the meet and when returning home.
