Teaching my Form 1 students adverbs of manner today, and at the same time incorporating a dictionary skills lesson. I showed them how to use a dictionary (alphabetical search), including understanding markers like (a), (adv), (adj), (vt), (perp), (n) n more
Surprisingly, for some of them, it was their first time encountering these markers. Even more surprising, they came up with quite advanced adverbs like slothfully and ravenously! 😍
