Time, that is to say the measurement of entropy as it takes place on an object, is not a constant. It is only your perception of it that remains so. What physics actually shows us is that it is a three dimensional construct and is affected by gravitational pull. That is to say, the stronger the force of gravity, the slower the measured entropy or flow of time. As gravity increases, space and time both bend around it. - This is why satellites have to readjust their internal clocks when in orbit, because they tick faster where gravity is less (although relativistic speed also factors in, causing them to lag behind earth time) The International Space Station, for example, moves 0.01 seconds slower for every 12 Earth months passed due to this relativistic speed. Physics teaches us that space and time are interwoven constructs that are in fact malleable, although, in general, you are locked into a linear path timewise because you are not physically able to alter gravity enough around you to substantially stretch that field. But this is not to say it is immutable. It just means that you do not possess the necessary tools to do so. But* Should you ever think of a clever way to do so, theoretically like gravity engines, then time is quite moveable, not in the backward/forward sense, but in the bendable stretchable sort of way. Perhaps one day, Humanity will find itself in an era where that information is used to traverse large distances in short amounts of time.
