Today my dear friends is a very important day.
A fighter shows the will of iron. Back in 2020 , one of our fellow aspirant Devanand Telgote , who qualified CSE mains but couldn't appear for personality test because of severe Covid complications. Aspirant community rose to the occassion and helped raise funds for his treatment and our guy fought to gain back his life.
He didn't stop, he didn't complain and today he has qualified Indian Forest Service Examination 2024.

Devanand Telgote (case all know) was supposed to be interviewed today at Delhi but his condition wasnt fit.
A case was presented to UPSC for delaying Interview or conducting it in virtual. Official took meeting and UPSC agreed for virtual Interview yesterday i.e 21 sept.
Yesterday a medical exam was taken in Hyderabad in cooperation with chief Secretary Hyd. But doctors team found him unfit for the virtual Interview as he is quite unwell and not sound in health and wasn't able to speak. So unfortunately it was decided otherwise.
Compassionate move by UPSC.

The 52nd and present chief justice is Bhushan Gavai. Sworn in on 14 May, 2025, he became the first Buddhist to hold this post and the 2nd Dalit CJI after KG Balakrishnan retired in 2010. He will have a 6 months term which is due to end on November 23, 2025.
