“እግዚአብሔር እረኛዬ ነው፤ አንዳች አይጐድልብኝም።”
መዝሙር 23፥1
እግዚአብሔር አምላክ እረኛችን ነው። እኛ ደግሞ በጎቹ ነን።
በጎች በመቅበዝበዝ እና ተከታትሎ ከገደል አፋፍ ላይ በመዝለል ለአጉል አደጋ ራሳቸውን ያጋልጣሉ። ነገር ግን በእረኛው ጥበቃ፣ ምሪት እና እንክብካቤ በሰላም ወጥተው በሰላም ይገባሉ።
በህይወታችን ስለ ወደፊቱ፣ ስለ ገንዘብ፣ ስለ ግንኙነቶቻችን፣ ስለ ጤናችን፣ ስለ ስራችን፣ ስለ ቤተሰባችን፣ ስለ መውጣት መግባታችን እናስባለን እንጨነቃለን ነገር ግን ንጉሥ ዳዊት ምንም ሳያጣ፤ ሁሉ በእጁ ሁሉ በደጁ በሆነበት ዘመን እንኳን "እግዚአብሔር እረኛዬ ነው" ይላል። ዝናዬ እና ሃብቴ በእረፍት አይመራኝም፣ የሰራዊቴ ብዛት በጠላቶቼ ፊት ገበታን አያዘጋጅልኝም ነገር ግን እረኛዬ የሆነው እግዚአብሄር ይህን ሁሉ ያደርጋል ይለናል።
እግዚአብሄር እረኛችን ነው።
