The Expenditure Finance Committee (EFC) of the Finance Ministry has cleared a ₹1.25 lakh crore outlay for India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) 2.0.
This expanded phase, which awaits final Union Cabinet approval as of July 2026, aims to build a complete domestic semiconductor ecosystem.
