🚀 Ola Electric Shares Jump 8%, Extend Gains After S1Z Launch
Ola Electric Mobility shares surged as much as 8% on August 31, extending the strong momentum seen after the launch of the company’s new S1Z mass-market electric scooter range. The stock had already gained over 3% in the previous trading session following the launch.
The new S1Z range, launched on August 28, brings Ola’s indigenously developed Bharat Cell LFP technology to the mass market, with prices starting at ₹79,999.
The company has also secured a ₹95.81 crore PLI-Auto incentive for FY27, adding another recent development to investor focus around Ola Electric.

ICICI Prudential MF Raises Stake in SBI Cards to 7.30%
ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund has increased its stake in SBI Cards and Payment Services to 7.30%, according to a disclosure received by the exchange under SEBI’s takeover regulations.
The fund acquired 21,60,916 SBI Cards shares on August 25, 2026 through open-market transactions. Its holding has risen by a net 2,01,71,877 shares compared with its previous regulatory disclosure.

Hindustan Copper Shares Fall 3% as OFS Concludes
Hindustan Copper shares fell around 3% on August 27, taking the three-day decline to about 6% as the government’s Offer for Sale (OFS) concluded.
The Centre sold up to 6% stake in the company after strong demand triggered the full 3% greenshoe option. The OFS had a ₹514 per-share floor price.
