2018-02-20 - @CalsiBot Update New: - No Verify? No problem. Banned spambots will no longer leave behind an annoying wall of "🤖 xyz was automatically removed" messages. For attentive admins, this information will still be available in the group's Recent Actions log. - Forwarded messages are now ignored, so you can finally share your /fish or /roll success stories with your friends, without accidently triggering the bot. - New /slap insults...because why not 🙃

😵 Now, there have been over 1.2 MILLION fish caught. This is so amazing to me, for something that started as a small inside-joke in one group, to now have this much activity. Since Join Verify was released, it has: - Been enabled in ~450 groups - Verified ~19,400 members as human - Blocked ~2,700 spammers from sending messages This is great, but today we take it one step further - with Time Limits. With Join Verify Time Limits, you can choose how long members have to Verify themselves as human. CalsiBot can then automatically ban them, if they don't Verify within this period. This helps ensure that not only can spam bots not talk in your group, but they also cannot see messages, or harvest data. Thank you to everyone who suggested this :)

There is only one thing more pathetic than making Telegram bots. Making user bots. Essentially, these look just like normal accounts, but are actually bots designed to spam, advertise in, and otherwise disrupt popular groups. While tools like Join Lock have helped, they are not perfect because they make it way more difficult for actual people to join your group, just so that user bots can't - that sucks, big time. What you need is an easy (and fun?) way for humans to prove they're human, but easily filter out user bots. /preview is already the 9th most used command 😳 From today, when @CalsiBot sees a message that can be previewed, it will just do it! You can fine-tune this behavior with /AutoPreview 😌

2018-04-19 - @CalsiBot Update New: - CalsiBot now supports Text Switching! For example, replying to the above sentence with s/Text/Message would replace "Text" with "Message", but keep everything else the same. If you want to make your match case insensitive, simply add /i to the end. So s/text/Message would not match the "Text" above (because the case of the letter "t" does not match), but s/text/Message/i would match anyway. To auto-delete evidence of your switch, simply add /d to the end. For example s/text/Message/d. You can also combine this with case insensitive matching: s/text/Message/di. Auto-deletion will only work if CalsiBot is an admin, and has permission to delete messages. Sometimes it's easy to accidentally put an extra slash at the start, like/s/Text/Message - don't worry, that is supported too :) Updated: - Over 30 new phrases for novelty commands like /slap, /kms, etc. - pat is now an alias for headpat - 🤤 can now also be used for the "knees command", alongside 😏 Check the first ever post here if you're wondering what that is. 😌
