| 8 | Consider the lilies!
What do you need today? What will you need in the days to come? You don’t have to worry or be anxious that you’ll lack anything! Your Father has promised to supply all your needs!
Luke 12:27-28
Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will He clothe you, O ye of little faith?
Your Father is your Provider! He is Jehovah Jireh!
He provided a ram for the sacrifice He asked of Abraham!
Genesis 22:13-14
And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son. And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-jireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen.
Jehovah Jireh, means, the Lord will provide!
God brought water from a rock, manna from heaven, and birds to feed His children in the wilderness!
Psalm 78:19-20
Can God furnish a table in the wilderness? Behold, He smote the rock, that the waters gushed out, and the streams overflowed; can He give bread also? can He provide flesh for His people?
He led them supernaturally by day and by night!
Psalm 78:14
In the daytime also He led them with a cloud, and all the night with a light of fire.
Nehemiah 9:20
Thou gavest also Thy good Spirit to instruct them, and withheldest not Thy manna from their mouth, and gavest them water for their thirst.
They lacked nothing!
Nehemiah 9:21
Yea, forty years didst Thou sustain them in the wilderness, so that they lacked nothing; their clothes waxed not old, and their feet swelled not.
He fed five thousand men, plus women and children with only five loaves of bread and two fishes; and there were twelve baskets left over!
Matthew 16:9-10,20
Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? [20] And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.
He provided the money needed to pay tribute from the mouth of a fish!
Matthew 17:27
Go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for Me and thee.
He caused the disciples net to be so full of fish, the boat began to sink!
Luke 5:4-6,7
He said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. And Simon answering said unto Him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at Thy Word I will let down the net. And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake. [7] And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.
We are promised that He will supply all of our needs. As we’ve seen, even if He has to do that supernaturally!
Philippians 4:19
But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Do you see beloved that you have no need to worry about the future. Even if the supply chain was completely stopped, He is still Jehovah-Jireh!
Trust Him with all of your needs! Rest in Him today, and remember these words for the future!
Take every care to Him and thank Him that He will provide!
1 Peter 5:7
Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you.
Philippians 4:6-7
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

| 11 | The Lord knew I would never throw away my, "riches and belongings". He knew I would never give up, (just about) everything to be in a position to truly live on faith. Faith that He would take care of all our/my needs just in time, every time. So He has forced me into this position, so late in life. I have renounced all that I was and humbly praise the Father through the Son multiple times a day. I beg for His mercy. I tell Him that my life is in His hands. It always was but I was unaware and unafraid.
All I can do is praise Him for all that he provides and for putting me in a situation to rely on His Grace. To make me a humble servant wasn't going to be easy for me..but He already knew that.
I give thanks for each day, I look for ways to rejoice and be glad in them. I seek to truly feel the Holy Spirit. That it might comfort me.
I recognize the tiny miracles.
I am grateful for the daily blessings.
My poor Shauna is tired.
Tired of suffering.
Tired of treatments.
Tired of side effects.
Tired of recovery.
Tired of appointments.
Tired of swallowing pills.
Tired of laying in a bed while everything is done for her.
I selfishly plead that He restore her to me so that we make walk together in His name. To do His will together and bring praise to Him.
His will be done.

That's how I have been ending all my correspondences with family & friends for months.
Never did I anticipate saying or truly understanding with all my soul, these choice words.
I look upon my boys (27&23) and brother Lin Woods words ring in my head..our time in this life is but a whisp of wind.
Had plans..
Had dates & goals set..
Plowed through life on my terms..
Pushed myself physically..
Chewed through the pain..
Pushed my self mentally..
Always focused on "my" plans..
My preparedness..
My stock piles..
Wife and I arrived at our final destination, two weeks later she woke up Christmas morning with a lump. Our first Christmas in the new land.
My wife.
My partner.
Always working toward the same objectives, together.
A woman I didn't deserve came along and helped me raise two beautiful boys. Hard working very organized woman that loved me. Absolutely loved me. I know because through out our travels and relocations I would hear from new people the EXACT same line, "She really loves you." It would take several years for me to even realize this on my own.
I didn't raise up in a loving home. I wasn't accustomed to hugs, kisses or hand holding. My boys are..I made sure of that. I still make sure they know how deeply I love them.
Yet I didn't know truth in love. I didn't know His love.
Scripture hits me now with clarity and emotion of truth. I understand destiny is not mine to bend. I understand I haven't accomplished anything that He didn't have planned for me. I know this because He knew me before I did. He knew how hard my heart would get, He saw my anger and resentment when betrayed. He also knew what it would take to break me. He knew like a wild mustang it wouldn't come with a soft hand and sweet treat.
He accomplished this by sharing what eternity feels like. He took a husband, father, craftsman, hunter, farmer and lover of living soil and told him he's the nurse, Doctor, pharmacist and counselor starting, NOW. By the way there is no training. He knows I love training. He must of also knew I could adapt and would learn under extreme pressure to save & maintain a life that matters to me. He knew because He knew me and set my path to bring me to this point.
He showed me what eternity feels like, just not in a good way. My wife relapsed in December of last year and the cancer metastasized past the blood brain barrier. It's been the worse fight of my life. An inhuman battle with no training or preparation. A no rules street fight would be so much easier but it wouldn't have broke me in the required way to carry Him above all else in my heart. To give me such an angel and then to have me watch her continue to suffer. I deserve it. He knows it and has made sure that I would never forget the lesson. Eternity is felt millisecond by millisecond when at the side of your loved one, day in and day out. Hour after hour as the resources continue to dry up. The preparations made against an unstable society have been plundered. The finances, went back in 2019 when she was diagnosed.
At my age I should panic but I trust in the Lord.
I was not able to carry this load, and sometimes still get salty if I've been given less than three hours of sleep for days. I cried out to Him for strength. He heard all of your prayers for Shauna and gives me what I need daily. My daily bread. I long to have time for, muh daily Breb. Miss you all Fam. I truly do.
But I am not on my path. I am on His. He guides my steps and I am learning more, for Him to guide my tongue.
For the last nineteen years my wife has asked, will you hold my hand? I would grumble and ask, are we fifteen going to the movies? I would hold it, but not like I do now. The cancer has taken most of her vision. Now I hold and pet her hand constantly so that she doesn't feel alone and knows minute by minute that she is loved. | 311 |

Do you ever feel like an alien on this earth? For children of God, there’s a reason for that feeling! This world is not our home! We are strangers here!
1 Chronicles 29:15
For we are strangers before Thee, and sojourners, as were all our fathers: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding.
Hebrews 11:13
They were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
1 Peter 2:11
Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul.
David said he longed for the courts of God!
Psalm 84:2
My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the Lord: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.
Psalm 84:10
For a day in Thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

I am a stranger in the earth: hide not Thy commandments from me.
Beloved, we live in this world, but we are not of the world! If we were the things we see here wouldn’t break our hearts as they do!
John 8:23
And He said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.
John 15:19
If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
Jesus knew it would be difficult for His followers in this world! He prayed for us!
John 17:11;14-16
And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to Thee, Holy Father, keep through Thine own Name those whom Thou hast given Me, that they may be one, as We are.
[14] I have given them Thy Word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that Thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
While we are here, we will battle the evil forces of this world, but He’s given us His Spirit, and powerful weapons to overcome the enemy!
Ephesians 6:12-13
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
2 Corinthians 10:4
(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
We are not to love this world, or to make friends with it! We are to long for another world!
1 John 2:15-16
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
Do you long for your home in heaven or have you made this world your home?

One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in His temple.
This world is not our home, we’re just passing through!
