To work as contractor and participate Construction in Ethiopia; any one needs to have construction license form Ethiopian ministry of construction; there is grade in different categories; General Contractors (GC 1-10) to work any civil construction works except water works; Building Contractor (BC 1-10) to work in construction of buildings; Road Construction (RC 1-10) to participate in road construction; and Special contractors (SC 1-4) specialized in single area of construction like foundation drilling. For foreign investor only GC-1, BC-1, RC-1 or SC-1 registration allowed.

ERA with new man on power. በመንገዶች ባለሥልጣንና በትራንስፖርት ሚኒስቴር አዳዲስ ሹመቶች ተሰጡ 18 July 2018 ብሩክ አብዱ የአዲስ አበባ መንገዶች ባለሥልጣን ዋና ሥራ አስኪያጅ በመሆን ሲያገለግሉ የቆዩት አቶ ሀብታሙ ተገኝ (ኢንጂነር) የኢትዮጵያ መንገዶች ባለሥልጣን ዋና ሥራ አስፈጻሚ ሆነው መሾማቸው ታወቀ፡፡ የኢትዮጵያ መንገዶች ባለሥልጣን ዋና ሥራ አስፈጻሚ የነበሩት አቶ አርዓያ ግርማይ ደግሞ የትራንስፖርት ሚኒስቴር ሚኒስትር ዴኤታ ሆነው እንዲያገለግሉ መሾማቸው ታውቋል፡፡ ለአቶ ሀብታሙ የተጻፈላቸው ደብዳቤ ከሐሙስ ሐምሌ 12 ቀን 2010 ዓ.ም. ጀምሮ በአዲሱ የኃላፊነት ቦታ እንዲያገግሉ የሚረጋግጥ መሆኑንም ለማወቅ ተችሏል፡፡ አቶ አርዓያም በተመሳሳይ ሁኔታ በጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ዓብይ አህመድ (ዶ/ር) ፊርማ የወጣው ደብዳቤ በትራንስፖርት ሚኒስቴር በሚኒስትር ዴኤታ ኃላፊነት እንዲያገለግሉ መሾማቸው ታውቋል፡፡ በዚሁ ሹመት መሠረት የአዲስ አበባ መንገዶች ባለሥልጣን አዲስ ዋና ሥራ አስፈጻሚ እንደሚሾምለት ይጠበቃል፡፡ This post on reporter Ethiopia
