📉 MARKET PERFORMANCE OVERVIEW
FBMKLCI: Dropped -1.8% WoW to close at 1,701.0 (still maintaining a +1.2% YTD gain).
Foreign Funds: Flipped to net sellers at -RM134mn (reversing Week 29's RM612mn inflow). Foreigners dumped Industrials (-RM148mn), Consumer (-RM85mn), and Tech (-RM68mn), but continued to accumulate Banks (+RM198mn) and Transport (+RM129mn).
Local Investors: Local Retail stepped in to buy the dip with +RM223mn in net buying. Local Institutions took profit, recording -RM89mn in net selling.
Sectors: Technology rebounded to lead performance (+4.3% WoW, scaling to +31.7% YTD) following strong regional semiconductor earnings. Financial Services lagged heavily (-2.3% WoW) as banking heavyweights gave back recent gains.
