Reynolds Decomposition
#CFD #FLUIDMECHANICS
✅ Reynolds decomposition is the starting point for every turbulence model ever written. This video talks about the origin where it comes from and why it immediately creates a problem.
📕 For graduate students (MSc & PhD), these channels are also worth exploring:

📚 Understanding the Fundamentals
The following videos aren't directly related to ANSYS, but they're informative and serve as an important reminder of the physics and mathematics behind CFD. 🌊
📊 A good CFD engineer needs to understand the physics and mathematics behind those results, not just know how to generate colorful contours and impressive plots!

🔻🔜 In future posts, I'll also share courses and videos covering the fundamentals and theoretical concepts of structural mechanics and structural analysis.

🤖 AI Agent Does Simulation & Analysis in Ansys Mechanical
#Ansys #ANSYS_Workbench #Mechanical
🔰 In this video, we can see how, using PyMechanical + Mechanical MCP Server, Google Antigravity AI and Gemini can:
🔸 Open a geometry, inspect it, and understand its different parts and their purpose
🔸 Suggest the necessary simulations and analyses
🔸 Set up and run analyses such as Modal Analysis and Random Vibration
🔸 Even check relevant NASA data to determine appropriate analysis conditions
Pardon my language, but… seriously guys, we are scr🪛🪛ed... 😅

How to Stop the Reversed Flow Warning in ANSYS
#Ansys #Fluent #AnsysFluent
🔴 If the video is difficult to understand because of the accent, here are the :
main causes of reverse flow :
1️⃣ Incompatibility between inlet and outlet boundary conditions
2️⃣ Poor mesh quality, especially near the outlet
3️⃣ Incorrect pressure-outlet boundary conditions → check that the Gauge Pressure is set correctly (typically 0 Pa when using atmospheric pressure as the reference)
4️⃣ Outlet too close to the geometry → extend the computational domain downstream
5️⃣ Mismatch in turbulence characteristics between inlet and outlet (k, ε, etc.)
