Sonam Wangchuk breaks his fast in presence of Union Ministers JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh.
Social activist Sonam Wangchuk has ended his indefinite hunger strike after meeting Union Ministers JP Nadda and Dr. Jitendra Singh. The fast, launched in support of students protesting the paper leak issue, concluded after the Centre assured that the matter would be taken up. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also said the government would take stricter action and place the issue before the Union Cabinet.
Some leaders leave behind buildings, some leave behind slogans—but only a few leave behind a legacy of character.
Alambadi Azmi belonged to the latter.
Even after serving as a five-time MLA, he chose simplicity over luxury, humility over power, and public service over personal comfort. He proved that politics is not about privileges; it is about responsibility.
