إنتَهَت المَعركة
هَوىٰ عَليٌ الأَكبر
إنطَفَئت شَمّعَةُ القاسِم
قُطِعَت كَفيّ العَباس
قُتِل عَبدُ الله الرَضيّع
جَلَسَ الشِمرُ علىٰ صَدرِ الحُسَيّن
وخَمَدَت الأَنفاس
وحُرِقَت الخِيّام
وسبيّت حَرَمُ آلِ مُحَمّد
وبَدأَت حِكايّةُ زيّنَب .
