🏴😞🇸🇾 — “Mohammed Al-Ahmad,” nicknamed “Qadmus,” was killed this morning by unknown assailants in the Al-Qusour neighborhood of Deir ez-Zor City. Qadmus was a former member of Assad's National Defense Militia and was accused of working for the Military Security Branch before 2019 (pic 1-2). A Syrian army soldier was killed and two others were wounded after being targeted by gunmen on a motorcycle in the Al-Zour area of Jadid Bakara town, east of Deir ez-Zor (pic 3). @Conflict_Monitor

🇸🇾😞🏴 — Yesterday, Syrian Security Forces announced the killing of two Islamic State militants that were trying to plant an IED on one of the roads leading to barracks and government centers in the Sayyida Zeinab area, Damascus countryside. @Conflict_Monitor

🇸🇾 😞☪️ — Following the attack yesterday in the Druze-majority suburb of Jaramana, today a pro-Hijri militiaman released a video showing himself firing a heavy machine gun at a mosque in the Maqous district of Suwayda. This district was home to the Sunni Bedouins, who were expelled by Druze militants in July 2025. The militiaman was identified as a former Military Security member under Assad who was involved in drug trafficking.  @Conflict_Monitor

🏳️🏳️😞🇲🇱🇷🇺 — For the past few days, the Malian Army and the Russian Africa Corps have been reinforcing Gao and Anefis with convoys of vehicles, soldiers, and air assets. Coming from Sevaré and part of a new batch of vehicles Mali received from Russia after the Many Losses FAMA/AC suffered since Anefis Battle, looks like they are planning to retake the towns previously lost in the April 25 offensive like Tessalit and Kidal. JNIM/FLA have been monitoring the 200+ convoy of vehicles without any confrontation unlike Last Time. @Conflict_Monitor

🏴❌🇸🇾 — Suspected Islamic State militants burned an oil tanker belonging to the Syrian government, yesterday, in the town of Dhiban, eastern Deir ez-Zor countryside. A Similar Incident previously took place close to this attack area along side Other Attacks in other regions in Syria. @Conflict_Monitor

🏴😞🇸🇾🇸🇾 — 3 dead ,14 injured, some critically, following an IED attack on a mini-bus full of Druze, yesterday in Jaramana, Damascus countryside. The Islamic State IED Damascus cell, which was responsible for the Palace of Justice Café Bombing and other IED Attack Attempts, is probably the one responsible for this attack that could be claimed by Sarayah Ansar Al-Sunnah on their behalf. @Conflict_Monitor

🏴❌🇸🇾 — Suspected Islamic State attacks targeted security forces in Daraa Province recently. On August 2, an IED attack targeted the vehicle of a member in the Security Forces, loosing his foot in Nimer, Daraa northwest countryside. On August 4, two members of the Defense Ministry were shot dead by gunmen in Sanamayn, Daraa northern countryside. Earlier that day, two members of the Security Forces were wounded after being targeted near Nawa, Daraa northwest countryside. @Conflict_Monitor

🏴😞🇵🇰 — The Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP) claimed responsibility for the assassination of one of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) leaders Jan Mir in an IED attack in Wana, Waziristan, on Monday, August 3. The explosion occurred in the town's main market. Local police reported that the IED was planted near a room in a supermarket where Mir was sitting. According to local authorities, no civilians were injured in the blast. Mir was critically wounded and taken to Wana Hospital, where he later died from his injuries. This bombing came just three days after the assassination of another (JUI) leader, Maulana Muhammad Ismail, who was shot dead in the neighboring town of Azam Warsak on Friday. This suggests an intensified campaign of targeted killings against pro-government religious scholars, leaders of political Islamist groups (such as JUI), and members of government-affiliated peace councils. @Conflict_Monitor

🏴⁉️🇸🇾 — Yesterday, unknown assailants on a motorcycle assassinated an Assadist who is the Mukhtar (local leader) of Anjara in Aleppo Province, killing him and wounding his brother in the legs. @Conflict_Monitor

🏴⁉️🇸🇾 — IED planted under a vehicle belonging to the Defense Ministry was dismantled in Haffah, Latakia. The IED type looks like the one used by Saraya Ansar Al-Sunnah during the Shia Temple Bombing in Homs, December 2025. Considering the coastal region being part of the group's operation zone by previously claiming assassinations' of Alawites and burning their forests. Its safe to assume that they are the main suspect which basically means its the Islamic State since SAS is just a shadow group for them when it comes to attacks against religious minorities in Syria. @Conflict_Monitor

🏳️❌🇲🇱🇷🇺 — A patrol of the Malian army and the Africa Corps left the town of Bourem, August 2, heading toward the village of Tangara. Upon its return, an armored vehicle from the patrol was destroyed by an IED at Agamhor, between Tengra and Bourem, Gao region. Geolocation - 17.27667, 0.02333 The attack was claimed by JNIM on the same day. @Conflict_Monitor

⬛❌🇸🇴 — Islamic State Somal Militants targeted a Puntland Military Convoy Near Qandala with an IED killing 10 soldiers. Around 10 Puntland soldiers, among them an officer (1st pic), have been killed after their vehicle struck an IED in the Sheebaab area of Qandala district. The soldiers, from Puntland’s Qorrax (Sun) Unit of the Daraawiish Forces, were travelling from their base in Dasaan towards Sheebaab to restore communications at an antenna site that was destroyed by IS-Somal. Qandala District Commissioner Khuurshe said that the blast killed many soldiers and that no one aboard the vehicle survived. @Conflict_Monitor

🇸🇾❌🏴 — The Syrian Interior Ministry released pictures regarding the operation carried out earlier this week against an Islamic State cell in Baghouz, Deir ez-Zor. The group's assassination coordinator was killed before he could detonate his explosive belt while the cell's leader was captured (1st pic). @Conflict_Monitor

🏴⁉️🇵🇰 — A cleric affiliated with the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), Maulana Muhammad Ismail, was shot dead by unidentified armed men on a motorcycle after Friday prayers , managing to escape, in the Azam Warsak area of Birmal tehsil, Lower South Waziristan. The JUI-F is a political party affiliated with the Pakistani government and has been one of ISKP main targets in Pakistan along side Pakistani Forces/affiliates, Peace Committee, and Shiites. @Conflict_Monitor

🏴❌🇳🇪 — Yesterday, 21 Nigerien soldiers were killed by Suspected Islamic State Sahel Province militants in the Dosso region. A position of the Nigerien Army located in Dankassari, between Doutchi and Yaya, Dosso region, was attacked yesterday, Friday, July 31, by Islamic State fighters resulting in the death of 21 soldiers. This attack occurred on the same day as the Attack in N’Guigmi, in the Diffa region, where 17 FDS members, including one officer, lost their lives. In total, 38 Nigerien soldiers fell, weapons in hand, during that single day of July 31, 2026, by the Islamic State branches (ISWAP-ISSP) The Islamic State Sahel Province is keeping a low profile, again, by not even claiming the Previous Attack on Nigerien Forces, even though the Nigerien MoD Acknowledge it. @Conflict_Monitor

🏴❌🇳🇪 — ISWAP claimed that it killed 4 Nigerien soldiers and burned their house in a "security raid" near the town of Diffa, Diffa region, Niger, 2 days ago.

West Africa Province - Friday, 17 Safar 1448 AH By the grace of Allah Almighty, the soldiers of the Caliphate killed 4 members of the apostate Nigerien army and burned down their house in a security raid near the town of (Diffa) in the (Diffa) region the day before yesterday, and praise be to Allah.

🏴⁉️🇳🇪 — Suspected Islamic State West Africa Province attack in N’Guigmi, Diffa region, leaves 17 dead. The attack occurred on the morning of Friday, July 31, around 9:30 a.m. The assailants arrived from the southwest of the town, from the Sabon Carré neighborhood, before targeting a National Guard position located near a cemetery. After the attack, the assailants withdrew with the army perusing them, falling in an ambush south of the town about one kilometer from the National Guard position. The toll stands at 17 dead, 4 wounded, 1 in a serious condition, and a destroyed military vehicle. Among the ranks of the killed defense and security forces: 6 members of the National Guard and 11 soldiers from the FAN, including one officer. The town is located near a position previously held by Boko Haram but taken over by ISWAP months ago. @Conflict_Monitor

🇸🇾❌🏴 — Syrian Security Forces managed to dismantle the Islamic State cell that carried out recent attacks in Baghouz, triggering clashes. Clashes erupted when cell lookouts spotted the advancing force, opening fire from the roofs, resulting in the death of the coordinator overseeing assassination cells (pic 2-3). He was responsible for the killing of an Interior Ministry official last May, Eid Al-Adha,  Abukemal countryside. Five other cell member were arrested, among them is a commander (pic 1).
