The issue with this claim is that A. no one can prove Earth's curvature through observable, repeating, and testable observation, and B. no one can prove Earth's motion with the same premises. They are both assumptions that conclude C (a lunar eclipse is caused by the round Earth coming between the Sun and Moon) is true without first proving A and B (that the Earth actually curves and is in motion around the Sun). Just a couple of issues with this well-known theory: we have what is called the Three-Body Problem. In real-life, observable reality, it is physically and scientifically impossible for three bodies of mass to orbit each other in a stable manner.
