Happy 21st Birthday to me. 🎂🤍
Today, I’m not just celebrating another year of my life. I’m celebrating myself—the person I’ve become, the person I’m still becoming, and everything I’ve survived to get here.
Turning 21 feels different. It makes me look back at the past years and realize just how much I’ve changed. I’ve experienced moments that made me genuinely happy, moments that broke my heart, moments when I felt lost, and moments when I questioned myself and wondered if I was really doing enough. There were days when I had to be strong even when I didn’t feel strong at all. But somehow, I kept going.
I’m proud of myself for making it through the days I thought I couldn’t handle. I’m proud of myself for getting back up after every disappointment, for continuing to dream even when things didn’t go the way I wanted, and for learning to choose myself and my peace.
I’ve learned that life doesn’t always happen according to our plans. Sometimes people leave. Sometimes things don’t work out. Sometimes we have to start over. And sometimes, we simply have to trust that what is meant for us will find its way to us at the right time.
At 21, I don’t have everything figured out—and that’s okay. I’m still learning, growing, making mistakes, and discovering who I really am. I’m learning not to compare my journey to anyone else’s because everyone has their own timing. I’m learning to appreciate the little things, protect my peace, and be kinder to myself.
I’m deeply grateful for the people who have been there for me, especially those who stayed during the moments when I wasn’t at my best. Thank you to everyone who has made me feel loved, supported, appreciated, and never alone. You are a part of the reason I’ve made it this far.
For this new chapter, I don’t ask for a perfect life. I simply pray for a peaceful heart, good health, genuine happiness, financial stability, meaningful relationships, success in the things I’m working toward, and the strength to face whatever comes next.
I hope 21 brings me closer to the life I dream about. I hope I become more confident, more independent, wiser, and stronger. I hope I never lose the part of me that still believes that beautiful things are possible.
Most importantly, I hope I continue choosing myself—not out of selfishness, but because I’m finally learning that I deserve the same love, patience, and kindness that I give to other people.

To the lessons, the memories, the tears, the laughter, the struggles, the growth, and all the beautiful things still waiting for me.
I may not know exactly where this new chapter will take me, but I’m ready to find out.
