DataDome is a bot-protection system used by a lot of sites (Garena, Footlocker, etc.).
When a real browser loads a protected page, the DataDome JS tag (tags.js) runs, collects fingerprint + behavioral signals, and POSTs them to a /js/ endpoint (usually https://api-js.datadome.co/js/ or a site-specific one like https://datadome.garena.com/js/).
That POST returns a cookie named datadome.
A fresh cookie means a newly generated one that hasn’t been used yet / hasn’t been burned.
It’s bound to the IP + TLS + fingerprint signals that were present when it was minted.
You send it in the Cookie header on later requests so DataDome treats the traffic as already verified.
