BLF Claims 13 Operations in Balochistan: Three Personnel and Two "National Criminals" Killed
The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has issued a statement claiming responsibility for 13 operations across Balochistan between September 7 and September 29, 2026. According to the statement, three security personnel and two individuals described as "national criminals" were killed in these operations.
According to the statement issued by BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch:
September 29 — Awaran: BLF fighters fired grenade launcher rounds at a Pakistani army security post in the Bazdad area of Awaran, causing casualties and material losses. September 29 — Surab: BLF fighters set up a roadblock and conducted snap checking on the Quetta–Karachi main highway at Mill in Surab for more than five hours. The statement said the purpose was to maintain control of the area and monitor the movement of forces and their facilitators. Fighters also addressed a crowd coming out after prayers at a Tablighi gathering in Surab. September 28 — Mand: BLF set up a roadblock and conducted snap checking on the main highway in Mand. The statement said trucks linked to Pakistan's economic interests were stopped, their tires burst, and drivers released after a warning. September 28 — Jhao: BLF attacked a forces' post in Siyah Damb, Jhao area, with heavy and automatic weapons, causing casualties and material losses. September 25 — Mand: BLF set up a roadblock and conducted snap checking on the main highway at Rek Bazaar in Mand. Four trucks linked to Pakistan's economic interests and one bulldozer were damaged. September 24 — Mand (Mehir): An IED was planted at a security post in Mehir, Mand. As two soldiers entered, it was detonated, killing one soldier on the spot and seriously wounding the other. September 24 — Mand (Baloch Abad): BLF targeted personnel providing security to a forces' convoy in Baloch Abad, Mand. One personnel was killed, and a forces' vehicle parked at the location was heavily fired upon and damaged. September 24 — Kharan/Kalat: The death sentence of Nusrat Tagapi, alias Sanjo, described as a national criminal, was carried out. BLF stated he was arrested on September 16 in Kharan city, proven guilty in the Baloch national court, and executed on September 24 at Muskan, Kalat. September 24 — Jhao: BLF attacked a police post in the Ladandri area of Jhao on the Awaran–Bela Road, took control of it, and seized military equipment. A roadblock was then set up on the highway. September 22 — Khuzdar: A post at Bulbul Salman Jho in Khuzdar was attacked with heavy and automatic weapons. One soldier was killed and one wounded. BLF stated a quadcopter attack was repelled. September 21 — Wadh: BLF ambushed a forces' convoy in Rousto, Wadh area, with heavy and automatic weapons, causing casualties and material losses. September 15 — Mashkay: A BLF sniper team shot and killed a soldier stationed at a post in Senidi area of Mashkay. September 7 — Khuzdar: Samiullah, son of Shafiullah, a resident of Gonko, Khuzdar, described as a national criminal, was shot dead. BLF stated he was active against the national struggle under the patronage of Nasrullah, and his network was involved in extortion, narcotics, and other social evils. Reports indicate that Sepoy Sahir Ali, an Army personnel who sustained a head injury during armed clashes with Baloch Separatists on 29 September in Manguchar, Kalat, subsequently died from his wounds. The deceased was a resident of Shakargarh, Narowal district. The casualty remained unacknowledged.

Pakistani Jets carried out air strikes in Kunar and Helmand Province of Afghanistan. The Air strikes targeted alleged militants hideouts in Shultan district of Kunar, and Garmsar, Safar district of Helmand. Afghan government spokeperson Zabihullah Mujahid has confirmed the strikes, stating that Pakistan targeted civilians homes in Kunar and Helmand, allegedly killing 9 civilians including women and children and injuring 11 others. Three homes were also destroyed according to the Zabihullah statement.
Pakistan's Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MoIB) also released statement confirming the strikes. According to statement, Pakistan carried out precision strikes on two locations upon credible intelligence, and claimed to have killed 22 militants, although there are no evidence provided by MoIB regarding Militant casualties.

The Bostan Police reported that they successfully repelled the attack following a prompt response by personnel, thereby preventing further damage to the Police Station. A vehicle, which was set ablaze during the assault by militants, is visible.

According to the CCPO of Peshawar, Main Saeed, the deceased individual was reportedly implicated in the targeted assassination of Sh Idris Tarangzai, who was killed on 5 May 2026 by the Islamic State Khorasan Province (IS-KP). Furthermore, one police constable sustained injuries during the subsequent operation.

A civilian passerby was killed as a result of alleged firing by a local peace committee in Karikot area of Wana, South Waziristan, according to local sources.

Balochistan Republican Guards (BRG) has released the video of BRG temporary take over of Haji Shehr Town in Kachhi District on 26 September. During the operation, BRG militants established checkpoints and carried out snap checking and took over the Police Station and destroyed it completely with explosives.

According to a statement released by Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Security forces including CTD, army, and commandos conducted a raid on a suspected TTP hideout in the Hassan Khel area Peshawar, starting around 4:00 PM.
The account states that armed individuals opened fire, targeting an army armored vehicle with a rocket-propelled grenade. When commandos attempted to extract the vehicle, further firing reportedly resulted in two security personnel being killed and others injured. The bodies reportedly remained at the scene for some time.

According to the Pro Islamic State Khorasan Province (IS-KP) sources, the deceased individual, Abdullah, who served as a clerk at a government hospital, was also actively collaborating with the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). It is reported that he utilized IS-affiliated names on social media platforms, gaining prominence under the alias "Mujahid" in the region, and frequently attributed IS-KP attacks in the area to himself. Pro-IS-KP sources indicate that he engaged in these activities to lure Islamic State militants and identify them for the ISI.

Unknown motorcyclists opened fire on a Fielder vehicle in the Wana Ghwakhwa Pursh area of Wana, South Waziristan Lower.
During the firing, the personnel inside the vehicle remained safe. The armed individuals attempted to seize the vehicle, but the driver ultimately managed to escape from the scene with the vehicle.

IS-KP Activities Reported in Several Areas of South Waziristan; Residents Report Checkings, Warnings Against Girls' Education, and Disruption of Wedding Event
The Islamic State Khorasan Province (IS-KP) has reportedly made its presence visible in several parts of South Waziristan, including Kaloti, Shogi, Bagh Pul, Shin Warsak, and other nearby areas, according to local residents.
Local residents say that masked armed men identify themselves as IS-KP militants occasionally carry out checking on roads away from urban centres. They reportedly warn people to keep themselves away from the government and local peace committees.
Residents also say that the militants use a harsh tone while speaking to people and that some of them appear to speak with an Afridi or Peshawar accent.
Information received from some areas suggests that the militants have also started warning local residents about girls' education, telling people that girls should not attend schools.
Three days ago, a musical programme was organised during a wedding ceremony at the house of Babu Jan near Kuzha Panga. According to local residents, IS-KP militants arrived at the gathering, destroyed the musical equipment, and ordered people to return to their homes. They also warned residents not to organise musical programmes in the future, saying they could face problems if they did so.
In recent days, IS-KP has claimed responsibility for the killing of two people in Shin Warsak. The group had also previously claimed attacks in Wana.

Jirga in Shaktoi, Upper South Waziristan Demands Easing of Curfew, End to Drone Strikes, and Restoration of Civil Rights
A protest jirga was held under the auspices of the All Political Alliance at Shaktoi's D-Chowk in the Shaktoi tehsil of Upper South Waziristan. The jirga was attended by a large number of local elders, religious scholars, political and social figures, youth, and the public from various areas of the district.
The jirga deliberated on issues concerning peace and order, movement, basic facilities, and civil rights faced by Shaktoi and Upper South Waziristan, and approved a resolution containing public demands.
Key Demands Approved in the Resolution:
· End to Mortar Firing and Drone Use: Participants demanded an end to mortar firing and the use of quadcopter drones in populated areas to protect civilians from loss of life and property. · Relaxation of Curfew: The resolution demanded relaxation in the frequently imposed curfew. Participants said effective arrangements must be made for the movement of patients, the elderly, women, and those facing emergencies during curfew. · Checkpoint Issues: The jirga highlighted difficulties faced by the public at various checkpoints, noting that some are closed before evening. They demanded checkpoints remain open until appropriate hours, with security forces present. · Speed Breakers: Reservations were expressed regarding speed breakers installed at checkpoints, with some places having three at the same spot. The jirga demanded speed breakers be constructed at appropriate distances and the height of safety walls reduced to facilitate large vehicles. · Mobile and Internet Service: Deep concern was expressed over the unavailability of mobile and internet facilities in Shaktoi. The jirga demanded immediate activation of mobile phone service along with 3G and 4G internet. · Legal Rights for Affected Families: The All Political Alliance demanded provision of legal rights for the heirs of civilians killed and injured during past military operations in Shaktoi, including diyat payments in accordance with the constitution and law, instead of fixed financial assistance.Participants said the people of Shaktoi have faced these problems for a long time and urged relevant authorities to take serious and practical steps to resolve public complaints, prioritizing sustainable peace, restoration of normal life, ease of movement, and provision of basic facilities. Announcement of Next Jirga:
The All Political Alliance South Waziristan Upper has announced a protest jirga at Sararogha on October 2. According to the alliance, the Sararogha jirga will deliberate on peace and order, basic facilities, movement, and other public issues faced by the people of Upper South Waziristan, especially Sararogha. Consultations will also be held on the future course of action.The alliance has appealed to the people of the area to participate fully in the Sararogha protest jirga on October 2, stating that a collective voice will be raised for the resolution of public issues.
