Maybe the government should spend less time finding convenient excuses and more time doing the fucking job they're supposed to do. Deliberately burning land is illegal. So where's the accountability? Where are the arrests, the investigations, the actual action? Just putting this out there because I've seen a lot of people blaming the weather for this. The forests in Kalimantan are being burned intentionally, especially during the dry season, when the fire can spread more easily. Its not something we should simply dismiss as just the weather

May the prayers of those who are suffering reach farther than the voices that mock them. May every home lost, every life affected, and every piece of land wounded be met with justice, protection, and mercy. And may we never become numb to what is happening around us.

Kalimantan’s forests burned and the land in Flores collapsed, while Aceh and Sumatra remain submerged. just as the people's outrage is met with mockery from the podium, nature itself steps in to unleash its wrath.
