I think we speak for the whole OSINT community when we say that Google should revert this change immediately. We’ve already seen AI-generated satellite imagery flooding the information space. I just found a Nimitz-class aircraft carrier (USS Abraham Lincoln or USS George H.W. Bush) on Sentinel-2 satellite imagery, 30/07/2026.
It is currently sailing southward into the Arabian Sea, escorted by a single destroyer.
