Anthropic says its most-used internal platform had roughly 30,000 AI agents running at the same time in August. They are helping with research and engineering inside the company that makes Claude. That number is concurrent agents, not 30,000 engineers being fired or replaced. The interesting part is that the people building the next models already have a huge AI workforce helping them do it. Claude is very much working on Claude
