The Sedian Heritage Foundation is organized exclusively for religious, educational, and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or any corresponding future provision.
The purposes of the Foundation include, but are not limited to:
1. Preserving and teaching the ancestral religious traditions of Sedianism.
2. Hosting religious events, educational programs, and seasonal rites.
3. Establishing and maintaining sacred spaces for worship and cultural gatherings.
4. Providing charitable relief to individuals or families in need, consistent with the Foundation's exempt purposes.
This Yule season, we will be gathering with members of our local community to spend time together, make memories, and celebrate with friends and families. This will also mark the Sedian Heritage Foundation’s first official gathering since filing for nonprofit status.
Yule is a time to offer for good crop, to share in gift exchange, and to make oaths. We will have plenty of good food and drink, and a warm fire will be lit as we celebrate the season the way it was meant to be celebrated, together.
We want to wish everyone a merry Yule season and look forward to seeing the photos and memories from your own celebrations.
Exciting news!
We have officially begun filing for our 501c3 non-profit status.
Below is our mission statement and our vision.
The Sedian Heritage Foundation is dedicated to uniting and sustaining Sedian communities through the preservation and practice of the pre-Christian traditions of the Germanic peoples. We create spaces for worship, cultural expression, and education—ensuring that our ancestral faith, values, and customs remain an integral part of our living heritage.
Our vision:
We envision thriving Sedian communities with dedicated sacred spaces, strong cultural literacy, and enduring traditions that connect future generations to their ancestral heritage.
