a life where you can exist quietly among trees, rivers, and open skies should've been the default, not a privilege reserved for those who can afford it.

and its sad, really sad and i will never understand why is it this way and why people are not mad enough. a life as such is meant to be the default but guess what to live around nature comfortably will cost you you both an arm and a leg. the ability to wake up to birds instead of traffic, to sit under trees without worrying about rent, deadlines, or whether the land will eventually become another apartment complex... for many people, that's no longer ordinary life. it's something you have to buy.
