1) The first and one of the main reasons I decided to short BTC was the divergence between ETH and BTC. Bitcoin was significantly lagging behind Ethereum. Keep this in mind: true market reversals almost always happen with SMT (Smart Money Technique) confirmation. 2) The level I marked in Photo 1 was the key level for the next move. Price failed to establish acceptance above 67.3K, which gave me additional confirmation to focus on short positions. 3) I highlighted the execution zone for building my short position because the level shown in Photo 2 had remained untraded, as you can clearly see. My bearish idea stayed valid until price made a sweep above that level. I scaled into the position three times—one entry was stopped out, then I re-entered lower using the MSNR concept on the LTF. 4) The target was perfectly reasonable. Of course, I could have held the trade longer, as you can see from the liquidation map in Photo 3, but I was satisfied with my take-profit and didn't want to overextend the trade. 5) In the end, it all comes down to screen time and maintaining a strong risk-to-reward ratio. I could have closed the trade much earlier and taken around $1.7K instead of $5K on the prop challenge, but that wasn't the outcome I was aiming for.
