some anime are just fun to watch but code geass genuinely left a mark on me. it's the only anime i never wanted to rush through because i was having such a good time and honestly wasn't ready for it to end every episode felt special and a part of me just wanted to slow down and enjoy it for as long as possible
i fell in love with the characters the story and even the art style despite all the criticism it gets
everything about this anime just hits different and i genuinely enjoyed every second of it
suzaku is such a strong and level-headed character while lelouch is an absolute genius when it comes to strategy and outsmarting his opponents his power had its limits but with the right people by his side he became a force to be reckoned with
but what really makes lelouch's story hit so hard is his sacrifice
he took the weight of the world on his shoulders so his little sister nunnally could live in a better and more peaceful world and honestly that's what makes his journey so unforgettable
code geass wasn't just another anime i watched it was an experience i'll carry with me for a long time
a genuine masterpiece that feels impossible to replace
