Abel Melese is a bright student who studied at HillSide and Miskaye Hizunan Medehanialem schools from 1st to 8th grade. He showed exceptional dedication, winning the Ethio Science Olympiad in 2016 E.C., and was preparing for his National 12th Grade Exams.
On December 29, 2025, Abel’s life changed, 37 kg wooden plate fell from the 13th floor of a building under construction, causing a severe head injury and skull fracture. He underwent emergency neurosurgery and remains unconscious, requiring intensive care and rehabilitation.
His family urgently needs support for his treatment and recovery.
