Lando and Lando fans have been through absolute hell on social the last two years.

Everything Lando said was twisted and taken out of context, if Lando had a good race it was ignored if Lando made the smallest of errors it was blown up out of proportion and made into a massive deal and why he is a terrible driver.

The whole world was jumping on the hate bandwagon. Tweets that weren’t even remotely true would get 50k+ likes hating on Lando.

Fake narratives were constantly being made. Anyone could make up whatever the hell they liked about Lando and as long as it was negative people would believe it.

We had to deal with boos and worst of all - constant death threats.

Now the very people who had no problem jumping on that, are complaining about how Twitter isn’t fun anymore the moment their driver receives a fraction of what Lando was put through for two years.

I wouldn’t wish what we went through on my worst enemy. All I can say is I hope these people realise the unnecessary hate they contributed towards, now that they have experienced a small portion of what it’s like to be on the receiving end.
