NOBLE FEATURES OF THE MESSENGER OF ALLĀH (ﷺ)
0️⃣2️⃣: His Height, Color, and Physique
Anas ibn Malik (may ALLĀH be pleased with him) said: "ALLĀH’s Messenger (ﷺ) was of medium height, neither tall nor short. He was of handsome physique, and his hair was neither crisply curled nor smooth, brown of color. When he walked, he used to stride confidently."
Ibn Ishaq said: "I heard al-Bara’ ibn 'Azib (may ALLĀH be pleased with him) say: 'ALLĀH's Messenger(ﷺ)was neither curly nor lank-haired, of medium height, broad-shouldered, with luxuriant hair reaching the lobes of his ears, wearing a red suit of clothes. I have never seen anything more beautiful than him!'"

An Important Issue Regarding the Parents of the Prophet (ﷺ)

SUMMARY OF SĪRAH
PART 7⃣: HIS SECOND TRIP TO SHAM
1⃣. At the age of twenty-five, he ﷺ traveled to Sham for a second time for trade on behalf of Sayyidah Khadijah (may ALLĀH be pleased with her).
2⃣ . She was a woman of honor and wealth, hiring men for her business ventures.
3⃣. She chose him for this work because she had heard of his truthfulness, trustworthiness, and noble character.
4⃣. With him was her servant Maisarah, and they engaged in buying and selling, returning with a great profit.(¹)
📚 Khulāsatu Nūrul Yaqīn
(1) It was said that on this journey, he was seen by Nastūrā the monk, who recognized him as the awaited Prophet.

Rabi'a bin Abi 'Abdur-Rahman reports: I heard Anas bin Malik describing the Prophet (ﷺ) saying,
"He was of medium height amongst the people, neither tall nor short; he had a rosy color, neither absolutely white nor deep brown; his hair was neither completely curly nor quite lank. Divine Inspiration was revealed to him when he was forty years old. He stayed ten years in Makkah receiving the Divine Inspiration, and stayed in Madīnah for ten more years. ˹When ALLĀH took him unto HIM˺ he had scarcely twenty white hairs in his head and beard."
Rabi'a said, "I saw some of his hairs and it was red. When I asked about that, I was told that it turned red because of scent."

SUMMARY OF SĪRAH
PART 6⃣: HERDING SHEEP AND HIS FIRST TRIP TO AL-SHAM(¹)
1⃣. When he (ﷺ) was young, he used to shepherd sheep for the people of Makkah for a wage to sustain himself.
2⃣. When he reached the age of nine(²), he travelled to al-Sham with his uncle, Abu Tālib for trade.
3⃣. When he approached near (Busrā), the monk Bahīrā saw him (ﷺ) and informed his uncle that he would be the last of the prophets. He asked him to take him back for fear of an enemy who was watching him.
4⃣ He (the monk) had proof of his prophethood from the signs mentioned in the books of the People of the Book.
📚 Khulāsatu Nūrul Yaqīn
(1) "Al-Sham" historically refers to Greater Syria, encompassing parts of modern-day Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and Palestine.
(2) It was said that it was twelve.

SUMMARY OF SĪRAH
PART 5⃣: HIS UPBRINGING AND THE DEATH OF HIS GRANDFATHER
1⃣. He (ﷺ) was raised by his grandfather, Abdul Muttalib, after the death of his mother, and he loved him (ﷺ) more than he loved his children.
2⃣. When he ﷺ was eight years old, his grandfather died after nurturing him for two years.
3⃣. After the death of his grandfather, his uncle Abū Tālib nurtured him (ﷺ). He (Abū Tālib) was poor, so ALLĀH expanded his provision.
4⃣. During the period of his uncle’s guardianship, he ﷺ was carrying out what ALLĀH had apportioned and made easy for him.

PART 4⃣: THE DEATH OF HIS MOTHER AND HIS CUSTODY (ﷺ)
1⃣. His mother died when he ﷺ was six years old, while she was returning from Madinah.
2⃣. She went to Madinah to visit his father’s grave, and with her was his grandfather, Abdul Mutalib.(¹)
3⃣. She was buried in Al-Abwa, which is a village between Makkah and Madinah.
4⃣. Umm Ayman (may ALLĀH be pleased with her), the maid of his father Abdullāh, nursed him.
(1) It was said that Umm Ayman was with her, and she was the one who brought the Messenger ﷺ back to Makkah.
