Okay, so now that we've talked about POC in the punk scene, we should not forget about Sista Grrrl. Sista Grrrl was a part of the riot grrrl movement that made room for WOC in the riot grrrl/punk scene. Because no matter how hard we try to erase it, you can always find traces of racism and misogyny within the community.

Also let's not forget about "death" One of the first punk rock bands of all time with black members. they were as important as Ramons, clash, sex pistols and such.

Not to mention that rock n roll,punk rock and most of the music subgenres are heavily influenced by jazz, bules and over all black musicians.Black and indegunes people played a huge part in building what we know of music today including punk rock and its subgenres.You can't be punk/alt and racist cause without poc we wouldn't have any of the subcultures we know today.
