The I draw stuff channel

So this is something I've sketched as part of a project, it's scrapped now so I can share it and everything I guess this is a creature design I attempted as part of a story written by becky, if it happens that we'll somehow finish it and all will keep y'alls updated

Today I was in the regenesis art competition held as part of the big three screening events.... I got second place with this drawing. We all had like 1:30 for finishing the art work and we were allowed to use a reference. I used three different references for this... One for the pose, one for the mecha design (gundam) and one for the details around the face and chest (all references will be in the comments) It was really nice since it's been a while since I drew for the sake of drawing.... Especially mecha drawing.... And well the new technique I have been developing working since I did this in a relatively short time👀

A one hour exercise of painting with a John Singer Sargent painting as a reference to better understand color in relation to light theory.... Based on YouTube lessons by Marco Bucci.

So I end with this the point of me showing U this is not to say U can make Ur drawings for Ur paintings like this though U can and I will be from now on.... Not just paintings but illustrations also... But how ever you draw U should do this kind of exercise more often if U are a visual artist to help U get better faster.... The paintings only demonstrate how much information you can pack into very rough sketches like this

And yet I can move on to add all of the necessary values and details that I want to show in a full drawing without cleaning up with line work and pen....
