Just a little heads-up, that I made the decision to not offer full-body sketch commissions at conventions anymore for the time being. I’m clearly getting older and last year was just too much for me to handle. In between sales I have barely time to fully concentrate and after the Den I’m to exhausted 😔 But I don’t want to fully stop doing comms at conventions so I’ll try a middle way and go for busts/headshot sketches now with a little extra shading <3

WIP 🚧 Started a traditional painting about 2 weeks ago and the “ugly” stage took forever 🙈 Artists can relate x_) Next step is painting all the highlights ☺️✨

Today I want to show you a “Behind the scenes” of assembling new merch. ✨ Being an artist often means more than drawing or painting neat artwork. You also have to be a product and packaging designer, marketing manager, social media expert, tax accountant, media designer, video editor, retailer & more. 😅 Not all of this work is fun – but necessary. But all of the work pays off, when you get happy messages after a customer received their commission or their order. Or their happy look on their face when they see your goods and artworks when they pass your booth at a con. 🥹💕🌈
