Gabriel's horn, or Torricelli's trumpet, is a geometric figure that demonstrates a mathematical paradox: it has an infinite surface area but a finite volume. Formed by revolving the graph y=1/x (for x greater than or equal to 1) around the x-axis, this 17th-century concept shows that an object can contain finite volume while having an unpaintable surface.
