The largest funeral gathering ever recorded was that of C.N. Annadurai in india in 1969, with an estimated 15 million attendees. Yet even that massive number represented only about 2.8% of india's total population at the time (approximately 534 million people) — a relatively small percentage of society mobilized for one man.
Then came the historic funeral of Imam Ruhollah Khomeini in 1989, which drew up to 10.2 million mourners — roughly 19% of Iran's population (approximately 54 million at the time). This remains the highest proportional turnout in recorded history, achieved despite the near-total lack of modern infrastructure left behind by the corrupt pahlavi regime.
Today, however, all previous records have been shattered.
In just the first three days of the funeral ceremonies for the martyred IMAM Supreme Leader, AYATOLLAH ALI KHAMENEI, Iran has surpassed every historical benchmark. Official estimates indicate 15–20 million participants in Tehran alone, with nationwide figures (including processions across multiple cities and Iraq) reaching up to 30–35 million.
With Iran's current population of approximately 93 million:
20 million attendees represent about 21.5% of the entire population.
35 million attendees represent about 37.6% of the entire population.
And several more days of massive processions are still ahead. This is unequivocally the greatest funeral in human history, both in absolute numbers and in percentage of national participation.
Even donald trump, that foolish bastard, still does not grasp the catastrophic mistake he made by assassinating this unparalleled icon. The stupidity of israel and America in martyring our Supreme Leader has produced the exact opposite of what they intended. Millions of Iranians — many of whom had been deceived for years by Western media and harbored doubts about the sacred Islamic Republic — have awakened to the truth through the blood of this legendary leader. They have returned to the right path with renewed faith and unity.
Because of their idiocy, a country that — on the eve of the war — had reached its lowest level of popular support in 48 years (though still far higher than the lies peddled by Western outlets) has now achieved the highest level of national unity and popular backing in its entire history.
