A friend has been saying for a minute that because everyone and their mother is saying October bottom, bottom most likely won’t be in October. It’s never that easy. In hindsight, a lot of people did “call top” this cycle when everyone was screaming different - but I also think that was easy for some of them to say as they were tired, already rich from a year or more ago, and felt as if they were wishing it was the top anyway. Which makes sense.

Feels like the first one, guess we’ll find out

But on chain straight up hyper gambling, there is no more efficient mechanism than all the sidelined liquidity participating and speculating on shitters to turn a band into several hundred thousand bands. That opportunity does now and will not exist anywhere else imo. It will always be a game we play, you’ll just have to be able to spot quality early and stay alive long enough to see maximum bullish sentiment when sidelined gorillionaires decide they want to play again.

A lot of people saying equity perps etc, I think that obviously will be huge and gives on chain stable enjoyoooors a reason to participate with lev in equities - which I love btw, a lot of my friends (still rich) are killing it doing this RIGHT NOW, so makes sense it’ll be the future of perps etc

I’m not one of the “we need new games!” guys. Same games, with sidelined money seeing an incentive to participate gives us another cycle of same or similar games.
