read the housemaid's secret and it was absolute bullshit. idk why i kept reading it till the end because genuinely none of it was worth it. the narrator was irritating af, the plot was nothing special, and the whole thing was just meh. as i said - bullshit.

one year ago around this time i was directing a play, acting in it and i loved being that busy. now this year i really want to direct a play again or at least act in one. but realistically it’s probably not happening because a) my classmates are idiots, and b) the guy i was co-directing with last time is a massive jackass. i wish i could just do it all by myself but unfortunately theatre requires other people and the people available to me are unfortunately idiots and jackasses.

random rant but one of the few things i do not like about freida mcfadden's books is the narration. it's very repetitive and lazily written and becomes irritating at some point. the plots are fine and one might even say good for a timepass read where you just gotta read something.
