10 OCTOBER 2025. Annual Feast of Saint Daniel Comboni (1831-1881) after whom our school is named. Together with Comboni today we also celebrated Ethiopia Flag Day, the welcoming of grade 9 studends and recognition of last year high achievers. It was a beautiful celebration. Happy Feast of St. D. Dear students/parents/guardians. This is to inform you that due to tomorrow's demostration (Meskerem 13, 2018EC) in support to Abbay's dam we will start classes at 10:30 am. The day will then continue as usual until 3:15pm. Before that you can join the rest of Hawassa citizens and other students in the demostration. Gathering is at 6:00am in front of Sidama Region Health Bureau. Students will be allowed inside the school compound after 10:15am. See you tomorrow at 10:30am. CSSS administration

Dear students, parents and guardians. Congratulations to the 188 students of Comboni Senior Secondary School who passed the 2017 EC ESSLCE examination. In addition we congratulate the 37 students who scored above 500. A hearfelt thanks to students, parents, teachers and school staff for this great accomplishment. Always more, always better. Thanks. Hello grade 9 students. This is to inform you that classes for the new school year 2025-2026 (2018EC) will start on Monday 15 September 2025 (Meskerem 5, 2018EC). You should be in the school compound by 7:50am so to start morning assembly. For the first day of school we will have classes only until 12:15pm. Once you start classes measurements for the uniform will be taken and uniforms will be prepared. Until then you will come to school with regular clothes. Thanks.
