For most of human history, like all of it that was pre-industrial, people would have 2 sleeps. They would go to bed for the first sleep then everyone would wake up around the same time around midnight and do stuff and hang out and tend to fires and stuff, then everyone would go back to sleep for their second sleep. I have decided to embrace this tradition as I so often (like over half the time, every night my whole life) wake up in the middle of the night and spend like an hour or more trying to get back to sleep. All of this was an entire mystery to me until I learned of the two sleeps of my ancestors. So here I am, doing stuff and about to take my second sleep. Also, this has nothing to do with my name or channel name. The origin of the name is because when I was younger I would host a radio show in my head before I went to sleep. I would be in bed and I would say in my head "This is the Sleepy Head show, I am your host Sleepy" then I would interview politicians or Sonic the Hedgehog or whatever I felt like then I'd just make up dialogue for everyone till I snoozed off.
