CBP is building the wall faster than they can acquire land to build it on, per CNN. Before Trump took office in 2017, the wall was just fence you could duck under. Trump covered over 400 miles of the border in real steel, starting in April, 2018. That's more than anyone else ever built, and it resumed last year. We're currently at 6 miles up a week, headed toward 10 miles a week later this year.

In 2020 Trump brought it to 150. By 2024 Biden cut it down to 130, so you can understand how large a growth this is.

This means we have to fix the immigration system even more, and we have to keep fighting because we have an opportunity to reverse this.’ Good and correct messaging from VP JD Vance. This decision is weak, awful and able to be reversed. Our path to pulling a better outcome is visible and open if we keep the Republican party focused and make it more firmly Trump-aligned.
