‘It's a preposterous ruling. A lot of conservatives are extremely disappointed— I do think there is a bright silver lining here. This case was a 5-4 decision. The concept of birthright citizenship, which is an absurdity to the 14th Amendment, is hanging by a thread. This means we have to fix the immigration system even more, and we have to keep fighting because we have an opportunity to reverse this.’
Good and correct messaging from VP JD Vance. This decision is weak, awful and able to be reversed. Our path to pulling a better outcome is visible and open if we keep the Republican party focused and make it more firmly Trump-aligned.
