Pushed a change for better randomness using the shuffle bag technique for reading submission and I broke prod 😭😭✌🏾It's back to normal now, but hey first time for everything (Prod malfunctioning was not in my 2025 bingo card😭😂)

There is 3 more days remaining until the end of 2025. As people are reflecting, I wanted to share my side of the year here with y'all (if you are down to hear about it😂) It has been one heck of a year to be honest with you. A lot has happened, both good and bad. Honestly speaking I didn't think I'd reach to this point in my life where I have a decent following on a channel I created on February, nor did I think I'd create a place for people to relax and just be themselves (I think I did but if not, I hope to create a place for that here). I grew as a person and managed to get a job that I by no means think I deserve but I am super grateful that I managed to land it. It helped me raise my esteem and in turn also pushed me to learn more about programming. I created some projects here and there with the latest one being a bot about reflecting on the year and being able to see what others are going through so one could relate and see that they are not truly alone. Chillathon 1 was a great success and the contenders did so well. I'm so happy it became this big and amassed so many votes. The devs deserve so much of the recognition. I'm glad it went well. Chillathon 2 will be coming up soon. The worst thing to come out of this year was the impending imposter syndrome that I felt for 90% of the year and in turn had me questioning my purpose in life. I became single after ending a relationship of 4 years. I take the blame for it regardless of how good of a boyfriend I was (I hope I was at least). Probably suckiest couple of months of my life but lessons be learned, I'm moving on and becoming a better version of myself. I made some great friends through the channel (I hope they think the same 💀😂😂). You know who you are, and I'd like to thank you for giving life to the channel. And thank you all for getting me to 500 subscribers. I have no words to express how grateful I am. Thank you! 2026 is going to be a massive year, full of more opportunities, learning and more dead jokes from my end. Let's keep growing peeps, we gonna make it gang ✌🏾✌🏾

I wrote a section for a group assignment and decided to check what an AI detector would say. I used this specific one: https://gptzero.me/ and it told me that my OWN ORIGINAL wording was paraphrased from what AI generated. I can't even write my own thoughts without it being regarded as AI💀

So Absyinnia Bank started this ID and account link thing. They went fully digital with deposits and withdrawals, and as I was getting mine linked the lady said she needs to take a picture of me. I'm glad to announce that I am still chopped and I can never take a good picture ever 🥀🥀

Finally done creating and deploying a side project. I built a Telegram bot called Reflect on Thou Year which is a fully anonymous space for people to reflect on how their year went, share lessons learned, and leave advice for others as well as read random submission made by others. A great way to wrap it up and share it to others with the added benefit of anonymity to push you to be as open as possible Just wanted to have a place people can share their dreams, struggles and goals so it can inspire people as well as help people grow and implement advices and goals into their own lives.
