Astrología Si bien no comparto la idea superficial de basar la vida diaria en el signo zodiacal, quizás exista una conexión cultural, aunque perversa, con una herencia pagana. Sabemos que, desde las religiones paganas y populares más antiguas hasta la actualidad, la astrología era parte integral de la fe. Rituales, siembras, poesía e imperios enteros se regían por la astrología. Lo vemos en el budismo y el dharma védico, el taoísmo chino y las religiones populares, el sintoísmo y otras que aún se practican como en la antigüedad. Sabemos que gran parte de la religión mesopotámica y persa se basaba en la astrología, con templos construidos exclusivamente para la lectura de los astros. Algunos afirman que Mesoamérica era similar. La cultura grecorromana y el zodíaco son prueba suficiente de ello. Las religiones celtas, germánicas, eslavas y de las estepas euroasiáticas poseen interpretaciones y tradiciones astrológicas. El Sol, la Luna, las estrellas, los dioses y nosotros estamos todos interconectados.

Astrology While I am not for the valley girl like ideas of constantly using one's star sign and basing your daily life on it. Maybe they are slightly culturally connecting to a Pagan heritage, though corrupt, without knowing it. What we know from the most ancient Pagan and folk faiths up till today was that Astrology was an integral part of faith. Rituals, crop planting, poetry, and whole empires were conducted based on Astrology. We see this in Buddhism and Vedic dharma, Chinese Taoism and Folk Religions, Shintō and others still being practiced like they were in ancient times. We know the core of much of Mesopotamian and Persian religion were based on Astrology. With temples built solely for the purpose of reading the stars. Some say Mesoamerica was similar. Greco-Roman culture and the Zodiac are proof enough there. And Celtic, Germanic, Slavic, and Steppe Eurasian faiths all have intepretations and star lore. Solar, Lunar, Stars, the Gods, and us are all intertwined.
